My husband and I started trying to grow our family soon after we got married. After 8 months of trying and no success, we were referred to the fertility clinic and took some preliminary tests. It turned out that I have PCOS and was rarely, if ever, ovulating.
Our story starts on April 2011. My husband and I had just gotten married. (I was 21 and my husband 24). We started trying for a baby immediately. I was worried it would take a long time and my husband worried it would happen right away.
On my 25th birthday, I had a mini life crisis. I realized I wanted to have kids but had been single for a few years and doubted whether or not I would ever meet the right guy. So, I decided if I was still single at 35, I would have a child on my own.
