Dr. Nadia Ouhibi is a Clinical Embryologist, certified as Technical Supervisor, with over 14 years of experience in the field of reproductive medicine. She is known for her attention to detail and safety and for her passion for patient support.
After receiving her BSc in Cell Biology and Physiology and her MSc in Animal Physiology from the University of Sciences in Dijon, France, Dr Ouhibi then went on to obtain a Diplome d’Etudes Approfondies in Animal Physiology, Development, Metabolism, and Endocrinology. She received her PhD in reproductive biology from the Institut National des Sciences Appliquees of Lyon, France.
After receiving her PhD, she completed a post-doctoral research fellowship in the Department of Genetics of the University Cambridge UK and the Babraham Institute UK in the field of embryonic stem cell biology and nuclear transfer, respectively. She was also a Fellow of Trinity Hall College, Cambridge, UK, working as a Tutorial Supervisor in Developmental Biology. During this time she gained expertise in early embryonic development and embryo micromanipulation.
Nadia then moved to the University of Washington as a senior scientist to expand her knowledge and expertise in medical genetics. In 1998, Dr Ouhibi initiated the Preimplantation Genetic Diagnostic (PGD) Program at OHSU-Fertility Consultants in Portland, while performing all aspects of clinical embryology.
After spending two years at Genesis Fertility Centre as clinical embryologist/laboratory supervisor, Dr. Ouhibi is delighted to join Olive Fertility Center. She has been published in peer-review journals and book chapters, and is a member of the American Board of Bioanalyst, the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society (CFAS).
